Announcing the 2018 Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo


GOGLA and Lighting Global are delighted to announce that the 2018 Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo (formerly known as the International Off-Grid Lighting Conference and Exhibition) will take place from January 21-24 in Hong Kong. This is the first time that the biennial event, which started in 2007, will take place in East Asia—acknowledging the growing and critical role Asia plays in the development of the off-grid solar market worldwide.

As the essential meeting place for the sector, the Forum and Expo provides a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking and showcasing off-grid solar products and services. More than 600 key stakeholders including manufacturers, distributors, investors, entrepreneurs, donors and policymakers will explore industry developments across five important areas: business development, access to finance, technology, quality assurance, impact and policy. The event will also be an opportunity for companies to showcase their latest products, services and innovations at the industry’s leading exhibition.

To extend the reach of the Conference at the heart of this dynamic and interesting market, we are simultaneously launching an online content platform tied to the biennial event. This will serve as an essential hub for industry leaders to connect with one another in advance of and during the event. This new platform will also feature a mobile app, which will seamlessly enhance your conference experience, allowing you to filter and message attendees, participate in industry polls, receive real-time event updates, and manage your own personalized agenda.
